Rat Race

The last few weeks have been looong weeks, between raising two children, maintaining a house, and my husband going out of town because of military duties (and no goverment travel card, yet, so we are paying for the hotels and stuff out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement!!). And we have turned in our 30 day notice to move out of our house... and don't know where we are moving INTO yet! I am PRAYING we get offered on-post housing to move in before 1 March, since that is when we have to be out of the place we are now, but that is not garunteed. All I know is we need some place closer to post so we are not using up so much gas everyday, and preferably some place that allows animals, so once we can afford one, I can hurry up and get a dog! Then I will feel a bit safer being home alone. So this month is going to be busy with packing and moving and everything else that goes along with being a military family with children!
