Well, life is definately insane around here. I am still raising money for the Avon Walk for Brest Cancer, begging people to send the link to their friends, and hoping that I get the amount that I need. Arianna spent half the night in the ER Monday morning and got her first IV and CT Scan. And I finally sent off my 2008 taxes (hoping my tax return gets here before the 6th of May, not holding my breath!) and getting ready to send off my 2009 tax return so I can use the return to finally get my root canals done and the truck fixed so it survives the trip up to Chicago for the Avon Walk!
Johnathon finally gave me the correct link to his new blog... and I got to read his post from right before he deployed for the first time. He said he didn't think he was dealing with getting ready to deploy very well considering it was his second deployment, but all I remember was him being so ready to go and get his job done so he could come home. I never saw any concern, or fear, or "weakness" in him. I was the one who felt so inadequate and subpar for handling a fourth deployment. To me, my husband is bigger than life, and I can't imagine my husband feeling any smaller than that.
