What a week

It has been a while since my last post, but then again, I have been ultra busy. Getting a job in the civillian world is not easy. Especially when you are on active duty for two weeks of training at the time as well. But going in to the manager's office in BDU's and inquiring about the job you submitted a resume for apparently adds points for determination.... or something. Needless to say, she said to come back on Monday, when my training was done, and then it was supposed to be the NEXT Monday before my credit and background checks were done to determine if they wanted to hire me. Well, THAT Wednesday, I got a call asking me to come in that day for a second interview. I start on Monday on a probationary basis for a month. The manager is not sure I am enthusiastic enough for the job, so she wants me to work on a probationary basis for a month to make sure I can cut it. I will show her! Hell, I really have no choice, I need the income. I will make myself good enough for this job. Six years in the military, I am sure I can adapt to sales in a bank. Especially when I already have an account, or two, or three, with them. So now I just spend half a day looking for clothes to wear since I have to dress in corporate attire for this job, and I have maybe two outfits that work, and my heels are NOT going to cut it for the first month when I am going to be on my feet ALL DAY, so new shoes are a must as well. And I have NO money to buy this stuff. AAHHHHH!!
