Road trip!

I am so tired. I just got back from a trip down to southern IL to visit a friend and just get out of this town for a while. So I went down south, saw a friend from the unit, went to see a new movie "Step Up", and crash in a hotel for the night. Brad was nice enough to figure out that the AC in the hotel room was not set very cold, so it was hot in my room. Well, he set it TOO cold, and shortly after he left, I had to turn it back off, I was so cold I thought body parts were going to fall off. And of course, the temperature outside at night was cooler, as well. What a combination. I just couldn't win. But it was an enjoyable weekend, given that I was not at home. But after the two hour drive home, it was nice to walk into my apartment and lay down on my bed for a little while and just rest. But now I have someplace to go when I need to get out of this place for a day and it doesn't cost me a whole lot. Just a night in a hotel and gas.
