One week left, followed by several more

One more duty week til I get a nice, long break from work... but not life or hell. My unit has apparently (supposedly) decided that I should move up to G-1 (think moving from working at a local office to a regional office, best way I can think to describe it) in order to give myself a well rounded experience at this unit so as to enable me to be more useful in future units should I stay in the AGR program. This, followed by the flag presentation for my father's flag to my mom being transfered to another unit, and no one caring that my mother has requested two people to do the presentation, one being me, the other being my best friend, and everyone giving stories of why my friend can't be there, but the bottom line being they are doing anything they can to cause trouble for me and my friends. Then, on top of it all, my ex arrives for a weeklong visit. Sheesh. I am ready to get out of here and go back to Ft Bragg. I have already sent emails to my old unit telling them that if they can convince HRC-STL to do it, get me back there ASAP. I am also working on my PT for the test in January and to prepare for jump school. Lots of work on my body there. I am also working on lots of online courses for military training so I can get lots of promotion points, and studying for the board, which also in January, during the Battle Assembly. I am going to be exhausted by the end of the month. Wish me luck.

Good luck! The promotion right now for you would make for a nice raise considering your years in, plus the opportunity to go to WLC or BNCOC will give you an idea of what to expect as you rise up in the ranks. I suggest you stay in the ARG program, it's actually not a bad gig. Don't let the ex-hubby get to you. Grace and I want to pick you up for lunch one day while I'm home, so I may need to get with you on the e-mail side for your telephone number and to figure out where you work. If you don't have enough time at work we can do something in the evening with all the kiddies. Also need you to find a good place to eat!!

I forgot to mention.. not sure how much of a choice you have in the matter, but you will learn so much more at the g-shop than you will at a company. Go for it!

I just hope I don't get overwhelmed and screw something up because they moved me upstairs (literally) before I was ready for the wrong motivations.
