I just got a "note" sent home from school for my daughter... no, she is not in trouble, in fact, just the opposite!

Student of the month - My kids school
Congratulations! Your child has been chosen as the Student of the Month for his/her class!! Blah blah blah about the PTA meeting that they will present her a certificate during (I try to go to all of them, anyhow, now that I am a SAHM again for now, I can actually be more involved compared to when I didn't get off til close to 6 quite a bit!)
I am SOO proud of her! She gets into her fair share of trouble at home, but she tries to be good, and she tries even harder at school... everyday she comes home and is so proud she didn't get her name on the board. The one day she DID, she was almost in hysterics! She has worked really hard to earn recognition like this. I hope that one day my son will be able to get some, too (although HE is the one that usually gets into trouble!)
