Finally done... totally, this time

Yes, totally. I have turned the keys over to my old landlord. He is charging me an arm and a leg for damages, personnally I think he is ripping me off, but at his point I don't care, I just want to be done with him. He thinks he has all this power because his dad is retired military. News flash, number one, your DAD's friends are not YOUR strings to pull, number two, I don't care WHO you KNOW on post, they are not going to give you special treatment and treat me with a double standard in violation of army housing regulations and local laws. Get over yourself. God, why do I either get the asshole landlords that try to screw me over from day one, or the jerk who loves me until he is not going to make money off me anymore and then screws me over? Oh, well. At least I am basically DONE. The electric is being turned off tommorrow, same with the gas, I have to call to verify the gas and give them my new mailing address though. I will owe like $300 because I did the equal payment plan starting in the cold season, so I have been on it when I was using more than I paid, but have not had time to balance it out during the hot season when I am paying more than I use, so I have to make that up now. But my electric should be paid off with my security deposit, if I owe anything, it won't be much, maybe $50, doubt it will be even that, since I have not been there to use any electricity. Finally, I am on my way to freedom from some bills and on to trying to find a job so I can start saving some money and passing a PT test!! YEA!!! I am so happy. I can't wait to get back on active duty. I hate sitting around here wondering how I am going to survive with no job right now, I do NOT want to go back to Chicago, and if I don't get on active duty soon, that is exactly what I am going to have to do. So everyone cross your fingers for me.
