Happy Easter

Yet another year, and yet another holiday by myself with the kids. Only this easter it not just because of the army, like the year before last, it is also by choice. The one that I would like to spend it with has chosen to not be a part of this family anymore, all because of an 18 year old private first class he met right before our anniversary that decided she wanted to persue a relationship with a married NCO. Well, time for me to get used to it, I don't intend to just lay down and die for him. I am doing everything I have wanted to do that I put on hold for him. And I am going to make him SO mad, because I am going to succed at everything he said I could not do. The only thing standing in my way right now is my PT test. Just 50 sit ups, 50, and I will have passed the PT test and can get my specialist, get my flag lifted, and get my recommendation for release from reserve status so I can go active duty again. I have checked on my job stregnth, and it is understrength, so I will not be allowed to change my job until we get more carpenters in the army since we are so short. Oh well, that is alright. I will get myself refreshed on my job by reading my books, and I am sure that I will get some hands on refresher training before I actually deploy. So time to start counting down, I intend to have orders to report within six months!!!
