I needed to post this so I could add it to my profile, I figure I can just leave it here as a post to stay, as well. In order for me to go into the AGR program, I had to have at least 3 years left in service, so I had to reenlist in the reserves, and went ahead and just did a six year reenlistment. My ex-husband was not able to make it, although he did want to be there (even with the divorce, we are usually able to be friends still) but several people from my unit were able to be there to celebrate with me... and of course, the usual pictures. They saved the food part for my going away breakfast later that month.
