I went to the E-5 promotion board today, it is finally over! They say you are your own worst critic, and I felt that my performance was anything but stellar, not horrible, but I think I could have done better. However, I have been told that I did an very good job today. Now I just have to wait for the board procedings to be approved by the General, then they can tell me wether or not I have been recommended for promotion. If I got the green light, I might be able to be pinned as early as 1 March!
Tommorrow is my last day being the HHC PSNCO, I have a lot of work to do before I take on my new work upstairs, and I also have a funeral tommorrow, so I have even less time to do it all in! But now I can focus on that stuff and not be stressed out over choosing between work, studying for the board and completing correspondence courses. I can finish the courses in my leisure, same for the boards, and do what I have do for work without killing myself.
