Well, I got requested for an update on everything, so here goes. My mom went in for further testing, they found another tumor in her lymph nodes, so they sent her for surgery to remove it, turned out the second one was basically another growth from the first one, so it was cancerous, they removed the lower lobe, so a third of her lung. They found a few cancerous cells in there, but few enough that they decided that chemotherapy might be good enough treatment and she should be strong enough to survive it.
Yes, the ex was on leave last week, hence the reason I am here on leave, unfortunately his leave was only for a week, mine is for two, but he is getting short days for the second week to spend as much time with the kids before deployment as possible.
It looks like I will be requesting early release from AGR most likely and moving down here to Ft. Stewart, being at my unit is just too much and I am realizing that I want to be a mom and I can't do that right now as a soldier. Maybe when the kids are older I can be a full time soldier again.
