I am home, unpacking from leave.... and repacking for a field exercise. We have drill this weekend, then Sunday night we load the buses to head out to the field. Then when we get back, if I have not already done it, I am sending paperwork through the chain of command requesting a discharge from active duty and moving down to Georgia so the kids are closer to their father when he is not deployed.
The kinks in the game plan... I need to find another good job down there, which I think I can do fairly easily, and dingbat's current divorce proceedings and his wife's desire to maintain contact with me and my two children. Whole nother drama there that I don't want to get into on here since it is a personal issue for my ex. But it is going to be NUTS!
