A few weeks ago, I sent a package over to my sister in the UK. She went over with her husband, who is originally from there and is a citizen. She has adapted well to being a house-wife, especially after being the bread winnenr for several years of marriage and single motherhood prior to that. One thing she has not adapted to is the lack of a few key ingrediants - like BBQ sauce and onion soup MIX, not actual soup! So every so often, I become a big spender, and send her a care package. This last package included her special request - CHOCOLATE PUDDING!! Heck, at like 75 cents or something like that, I can handle that, it even inspired me to buy a couple packs for myself, much healthier than the amount of ice cream I could consume if left uncontrolled. But I forgot one detail - mailing international packages with the contents I sent (there was more than just pudding mix) can cost more than what is actually in the package itself! It cost me over $50 to mail the package, and the products inside cost about $15-20! But, no matter, once she gets it - or, now that she has it, she hasn't IMed me yet, then again, she hasn't blogged on any of her blogs lately, do who knows her internet situation - she should be one happy cooking housewife.
Man, I miss my sister.
