The fire is OUT!

Well, the Waldo Canyon Wildfire seems to be on it's way to being controlled, thank GOD! I wasn't really worried, since I live on the OPPOSITE side of the city, odds of the fire reaching this far were slim, I was more worried about the smoke that was making its way over here. We got people with breathing problems (like my asthma!!) that could have wound up really sick from the smoke, and if the fires got bad enough, possible smoke damage, but that wouldn't have been a big deal for me, my personal property could just be washed off, and there are advantages of being a renter instead of a homeowner. But the fire is 45% contained and they expect total containment before baby girl's birthday! YAY! So that mild concern is NO MORE! Now, I just gotta find out if the roads are all clear (some roads were being closed or they were trying to get people to NOT use those roads) so that I can get to the mall... someone needs a haircut (not me!!) and I'd like to get some more candy apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. And maybe finally stop in at JC Penny and see if they have any lightweight robes for me to use instead of the damn fleece robe my ex bought me in ALASKA back in 1999!
