Some things can go right, even if others are still going wrong

Last week I had stuff stolen from me. This week I am still waiting on money from the Army... although Obama's old senate office in IL did say that it was supposed to be there no later than the 21st. So we gave them an extra week and on the 2nd I got to call them back and let them know it still ain't there, that is the money I am going to use to pay off my cell phone bill and gas for us to get up North and a couple presents. The chaplin is putting in our names for Toys for Tots so we can get gifts for the kids this year, and for a food voucher for Christmas. We had no food and no money, but then we got refund checks from security deposits and such for stuff that got cancelled/shut off on us, so we deposited them, wasn't supposed to be available til the next day... was available same day, so we bought some milk and bread and lunch meat. Thought that was gonna be our dinner for Turkey day, but wound up being invited to dinner elsewhere... where we got plenty of leftovers as well as a couple bags of food handed over to help last us through at least the next week. Now we just gotta hope that the military starts giving us our money like they are supposed to, and my Avon business picks up, cause I SERIOUSLY need the help. Maybe we will actually have money for food, gas AND bills here soon, after all!
