21 Days and counting!

I finally got my hardcopy discharge orders! 28 May will be my last day in the Army. Unfortunately, this puts me completely out of the military, not just off active duty, but that is what I had to do in order to get off active duty. At least now I can move to a military community so that I can have the kids closer to their father and actually have some help. While I am there, the first thing I am doing is working on a new family care plan. Once I have a solid one in place, with backup for the backup for the backup, I will apply for a waiver to reenlist back into the Army Reserves. I am very excited and very nervous about this, I don't have a job yet, but I have the applications in up the wahzoo! So everyone cross your fingers for me that I get a job offer soon! I would love to work from home, but I am not finding anything that would work.

I am about to be separated for Family Care Plan. I have been in the Active Army for 13 1/2 years. I requested this chapter, because my wife and I are dual military with kids. It has been tremendously difficult with the current deployments. Nobody can tell me if I get full or half separation pay. Did you? If so, do you mind telling me how they figured out how much to pay you? or how much you got? My wife is freaking out about money, and I would love to be able to releive some stress. Thank you.
